We went to the same school as each other. Castleford Boys Secondary Modern School.

He lived in Airedale, Castleford, at that time. One day he invited me home for tea. So I told my cousin Colin Sykes To tell my Mum & Dad But he didnt tell them. So me thinking they new, stayed with Tony until about 21-00 hrs. When I arrived home my Mum went mad. She would have been madder If she had have known where we had been. And how we got there. But thats between him and me. You will have to 'Scrat' you self to find out. LOL

He immigrated to Australia. Round about 1959. When he was 16 years old. The next time I saw him was about 9 years later. When he came over. And he saw me in an arcade. And put his hands round my eyes. And asked,Guess who? And funnily enough I knew who he was. He took me home in an old car he had bought.

Then when he went back we lost all contact with each other. Until he visited my son web site And put a write up in it. Saying roughly who he was. At first I did not recognise it was him. So I just emailed him and asked the question Was it you I went to school with? And from there we started emailing each other regularly. Then we got on to voice chat, on the Internet. It was great.

He came into a small amount of money from an accident he had had at work. And came over to see me December 2000. Talk about a fairy tale coming true this was.

But he is an ill man now, in and out of hospital lots of times. But I hope we can meet up again some day.
